recentemente comprei uma slash vxl e nao usei nem 5x ela...

carreguei a bateria que vem nela da traxxas, pluguei no carro e na hora ja saiu cheiro de queimado e o carro comecou a mexer e saiu fumaça do ESC.

na hora ja desliguei a bateria.

bom... fumaça ja nao é bom sinal, o esc parece estar em curto.

perdi o ESC? vou ter que acionar a garantia da traxxas? comprei o carro na tower Hobbies.

Vc tem o invoice na Tower comprovndo a recente compra, qq coisa manda pra Traxxas

a tower respondeu meu email perguntando sobre a garantia e tal... parece que a Traxxas nao esta enviando para eles o ESC pois esta trabalhando numa atualizacao de melhoria nele. sendo que cogitam que por ter comprado o produto fora dos EUA a garantia deles é somente no territorio gringo rs. vou aguardar o retorno da tower sobre o contato que vao fazer com a traxxas. tambem enviei um email para eles.

Unfortunately some manufacturers do not warranty their items if they leave the US and Traxxas is one of those companies. It's not that they won't warranty it. It's more that if they have an authorized retailer in our country it has to be purchased through them and they have their own warranty center in your country. If you buy on the Internet from another country, you won't be covered under the warranty. We do print this in the ID and in our policies.

Tower Hobbies will stand behind this item in this circumstance. If you want to wait another day or so, I am checking with Traxxas on when we are to get the TRAM3356. This is the speed control that is smoking. We have been out of stock for a year, probably because they are trying to work on the quality. I have just sent a request today to see when we are to get these and if they have made any changes. If we are going to get some soon perhaps we can just send you one of those to replace in your slash and save you from returning it. Please let me know if this is a possible solution for you. I will follow up with you when we have the expected arrival date of these units. You should hear from me in the next day or two

Hello Rodrigo,

Traxxas handles international warranty issues through our international importers. These importers cover all Traxxas warranty issues on vehicles they have imported. The vehicles have gone through all the legal import channels and the importer has paid the import fees, duties,VAT taxes etc... required by Customs and has made sure the vehicle is compliant with local regulations. Since you purchased your vehicle in the US and imported it yourself, you are a US customer and our Brazil importer will not cover any warranty issues for your vehicle. You must go through our US warranty channels.

It sounds like you need to send your VXL-3s to us for inspection/repair. There is a 30 day warranty on all Traxxas electronics. Beyond that you can take advantage of the lifetime extended warranty. Under that program there is a repair charge of
$50 for the VXL-3s

Return shipping to Brazil is $30.

Once you have registered respond to this e-mail with the vehicles serial number your name, phone number, address and your Zip code. I will generate an RMA number for you to send it in.

por nao ter comprado pelos meios legais de revendedoras no Brasil, só tenho direito da garantia dos EUA. terei que fazer um RMA e pagar os 50 dollares para reparo do esc.

Parece que é mais barato comprar um ESC novo...

Pela resposta da Traxxas, já compra outro ESC( e de outra marca). Nem vai compensar arrumar, com essas despesas de envio e recebimento.
Por outro lado, a Tower Hobbies, como sempre, profissional, prestativa e correta. Parabéns aos caras. Realmente são feras.
Acho que a briga vai ter que ser com a Traxxas mesmo. Realmente a Tower deixa claro sobre garantias de produtos comprados fora dos EUA.
Tomara que vc consiga pelo menos um ESC novo da Traxxas. É o mínimo que eles devem fazer.
