E quanto eu vou gastar +- nessa brincadeira...

Hey Evilio... and the break? With eletric motor you don't need it?
Abs
The motor acts as brake, you can program it in the ESC. The only limitation is you can't control front/rear braking bias.

Re: Kyosho DBX rtr
Hello, this conversion is very good, but the DBX VE is also eletric motor. Now there is also a doubt because I'm interested in an electric DBX. This engine that you used is compatible with the original engine?
Peço desculpa aos amigos pelo dialogo em ingles, mas perguntei sobre esta conversão se é ...

Re: Kyosho DBX rtr
Say no to most aluminium parts (especially high stress ones like TR102).
Plastic is flexible, doesn't bend out of shape, absorbs damage and most importantly, it breaks before transmiting enough force to the parts it is connected to break them as well. I'd rather replace TR102 10x times than have ...

Os cv is also great... i wanna know the diference between CV, TZ and GXR...
Difference between CV-RX and TZ-X (X denotes pullstart, necessary for our little car) is that CV series is side-exhaust non-turbo and TZ is rear-exhaust turbo. Turbo uses different plugs. Rear-exhaust also is more ...

Re: Kyosho DBX rtr
Yes you can turn the carburettor without any problem. Just keep in mind the direction of the rotation if it is a rotary carb. Sliding carbs are easier. That Picco looks like a slider, so no problem. Only precaution I'd take is changing the main gear and the differential gears to metallic ones to ...

Re: Kyosho DBX rtr
If you don't want the OS.18TZ's extreme power, you can go for an OS CV-RX with side exhaust. Less power, you can use the standard pipe.

show some pics of trw106 @ car...
Store is not an online store, merely a hobbyshop without online business. I would offer to send them to you, but it will probably be faster, cheaper and easier to just get them from the USA.
Here are some pics.

Re: Kyosho DBX rtr
Everything depends of the way you measure the power, this magazine have a Dyno to measure the power, and this is the most accurate way... But kyosho probably use a program that calculate the power of an engine, based in some measures, and is less precise...

Re: Kyosho DBX rtr
Funny thing is I have seen some shops advertising the engine as having as much as 1.7 hp. I wonder where the hell they got that figure from, because as seen in that review, testing the engine yielded much lower figures. Even the guy at the shop I bought my DBX at told me the engine sucked bigtime ...
